Eddie Barbanell at UT Austin

Special Olympics Board Director Eddie Barbanell is a passionate and outspoken advocate in the on-going battle to eradicate the R-word.  He’s also an actor, does some amazing Shakespeare scenes and a Special Olympics Florida athlete.  We always say there is no better voice to speak out against the R-word than our athletes, and the videos below show Eddie doing exactly that at a recent rally at the University of Texas in Austin called “Real Texans Don’t Use the R-word.”  Check him out!
