Thanks to our longtime partner, P&G, Special Olympics has a terrific opportunity tonight as the charitable partner of the People’s Choice Awards, airing live at 9pm EST on CBS!

As part of the opportunity we will have an “in-show moment” where Vanessa Williams, a Global Ambassador and Board Director for Special Olympics, will make a call to action for all who are watching to support our Special Olympics Team USA athletes with a text to donate ask.  By texting the word “FAN” to 85944, and replying ‘YES’ to confirm, a $10 donation will be made through Mobile Cause to support Special Olympics Team USA athletes!

So how can you help?

You can of course always text “FAN” to 85944 to donate, or go to our online donation page.

But beyond an individual donation, you can have a tremendous impact and increase your philanthropic influence exponentially by sharing this information with everyone in your online and social networks to help raise awareness today about the in-show moment so as many eyeballs as possible are on Vanessa when she makes her call to action!

To do this, you can:

  1. Email this post to everyone in your contacts list.
  2. Share this post on your Facebook profile and/or tweet it by using the “Share This” links at the bottom of this post.
  3. Challenge your friends to share it on their Facebook profiles and forward your email to their contacts.

Right now you are one person reading this post.  How many Facebook friends do you have?  Imagine each one of them viewing this post and sharing it.  How many friends do they have?  Sharing with your social network is pretty powerful stuff and it all benefits the athletes of Special Olympics Team USA!  So get sharing now!
