2010 is officially coming to a close and it’s been a great year for Special Olympics with the addition of new programs, more athletes and events across the globe.
Our athletes depend on us to provide the sports training and competitions that help them build confidence and reach their dreams. Athletes like Jimmy Keith whose dad says his focus on schoolwork is better due to sports training. Or Angela Click whose parent can’t imagine what their life would be like without Special Olympics.
We need your help to reach more people like Jimmy and Angela who want to participate in Special Olympics. Make a gift today and help us change lives here and around the world. Plus, from now until December 31st, every dollar donated, up to $100,000, will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to very generous members of the Special Olympics Board of Directors.
When you give $50, it will instantly become $100. $75 becomes $150. $100 becomes $200. It is an unbelievable opportunity to double the impact of your gift for Special Olympics athletes and families in your community and around the world.
Help us beat the Match deadline of December 31st and make your gift today. Your generosity is amazing and will be greatly appreciated by Special Olympics athletes, family members, coaches and volunteers around the world.
Thank you for helping us change lives through sport.
As a SO athlete and global messenger in Illinois, it is a joy to be a part of because I have made so many friends because of swimming in SO and formally playing basketball on the SEASPAR Slammers high school SO team. And, we have a lot of fun too! Thanks to all of you who help support us.
