Just a few months ago in July, Global Ambassador Padraig Harrington went for the Irish Open title wearing the his red Special Olympics laces. Then in late August, we found him on the Barclay’s PGA Tour running a golf clinic for New Jersey Special Olympics athletes. Just last week, at the UBS Hong Kong Open, Padraig teamed up with Chinese Taipei’s Lin Wen Tang to conduct a clinic for six Hong Kong Special Olympics athletes who all received gold medals in golf in the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens.
